COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS
The aim is to establish a framework for career-related goals and skills. It is a crucial aspect of education that prepares students for life beyond high school.
COLLEGE DAY
Students participate in class discussions and other activities that highlight the importance a college education can have on their future. Students, teachers, and staff wear a college shirt to school on "College Day" to promote the value of a college education.
CAREER DAY
Parents and members of the community are invited to speak to students about their jobs/ careers. College experience and other education/ training is highlighted as students learn how to relate their current learning to future career options.
CAREER PLANNING & EXPLORATION
This is a promotion requirement for 8th graders moving on to high school. Education Plans are required.
DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM
This program is an acceleration program that allows eligible students to start taking postsecondary coursework.
