VALUES MATTER MIAMI
BULLY PREVENTION
Supporting and encouraging these core values helps maintain a safe learning environment for all. The values also provide the foundation of our behavioral expectations for students. We recognize positive student behavior to encourage a positive school climate and empower the school community to pursue excellence in all areas.
Bullying is defined as an intentional behavior (typically repeated over time) that hurts, harms, or humiliates another, either physically or emotionally. Those who bully often have more social or physical “power,” while those targeted have difficulty stopping the behavior.
