The Student Services Program
at Lamar L. Curry Middle School

Parents and members of the community are invited to speak to students about their jobs/ careers. College experience and other education/ training is highlighted as students learn how to relate their current learning to future career options.

Students participate in class discussions and other activities that highlight the importance a college education can have on their future. Students, teachers and staff wear a college shirt to school on "College Day" to promote the value of a college education.

Students choose a teacher or staff member to shadow and experience a day in the life of that school employee.
